Random Stuff

Wow, been a while, huh? I think my neighbors Christmas spirit has rubbed off on me. I have been wrapping presents and making homemade cards instead of keeping up with my blog. Nothing exciting has been happening in my world lately. Nate had his first portraits taken, by the way, do not go to JCPenney’s on a Sunday for portraits. Damn coupon made me do it!! But, they still turned out pretty good. What’d ya think?

I know, I know, my kid is gorgeous! I’ll let you see pics of all the crafty things I’ve been up to soon.

On another, interesting note, I’ll tell you a little story. Once upon a time, I thought I was all grown up at the ripe old age of 18 and my boyfriend and I decided to move in together and play house. We were sadly mistaken. Things were good, until he turned 21 and found out how much fun it was to go out drinking with coworkers while I sat at home pretending to be Holly Homemaker. Apparently, one of those coworkers just happened to be an attractive young blond; she was a lot more fun than I was. Long story short, about 3 months later, I came home to find a note. It said “I love you, I want to spend my life with you, but I just can’t live with you right now.” Yeah, I know! Needless to say this f**ked my 19 year old ass up. I left town 2 weeks later and came to KY. That was a little over 8 years ago. So, a couple of weekends ago, I sat down to watch The Soup. That gem of a guy was on it. It was a clip of some show about The Hard Rock Casino. There he was, acting like a jackass. He’s gained about 40 lbs. And, Joel McHale made fun of his tatoo. Ahh, Kharmic retribution!!
